The Willmar Stingers (20-14) took home a 12-6 victory over the Alexandria Beetles (12-22) on Tuesday at Knute Nelson Memorial Park, fueled by four runs in the seventh inning.

The game was back-and-forth heading into the seventh, with nine lead changes.

The Willmar Stingers finally managed to grab the lead after a strong seventh inning. Scored Dillon Haupt and gave the Willmar Stingers the lead for good.

Haupt racked up three RBIs on four hits for the Willmar Stingers. He homered in the fourth inning and singled in the second, seventh, and ninth innings.

Mark Lukowski got the win, running his season record to 2-0. He struck out one, walked none and surrendered one hit.

Nick Berhel ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked one, struck out none, and allowed four runs.
