A walk-off single from Tyler Wampler brought home the winning run for the Eau Claire Express (11-22) in a 7-6 victory over the Wisconsin Woodchucks (17-17) in 10 innings at Carson Park on Saturday.

It was a good day at the plate for the Eau Claire Express' Wampler. Wampler went 0-0 and scored one run. He singled in the tenth inning.

Tim Zier led the Eau Claire Express' offensive threat, as he got on base five times in the game. He scored three runs and had one RBI. He singled in the first, third, and fourth innings.

Tony Vocca pitched lights out for the Eau Claire Express. The Wisconsin Woodchucks managed just one hit off of the the Eau Claire Express' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one during his 2 1/3 innings of work.

Max Ising (0-1) took the loss for the Wisconsin Woodchucks. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked one, struck out none, and allowed one run.
