Extra-inning thriller favors the Green Bay Bullfrogs, 5-4 winners over the Battle Creek Bombers

The Green Bay Bullfrogs (20-10) outlasted the Battle Creek Bombers (12-18) at Joannes Stadium 5-4 on Friday after 11 innings.

With the score tied at four, Kevin Krause came to the plate and singled, plating Ransom LaLonde.

Krause pushed the Green Bay Bullfrogs ahead, in the eleventh inning, and the lead lasted until the final out.

Krause paced the Green Bay Bullfrogs at the plate. Krause went 2-4 and scored two runs. He doubled in the second inning and singled in the fourth and eleventh innings.

Bradley Wallace baffled the Battle Creek Bombers, striking out seven batters. Wallace allowed one earned run, five hits and two walks over six innings.

Will Landsheft recorded his first win of the year for the Green Bay Bullfrogs. He struck out five, walked one and surrendered one hit.

Caleb Vincent ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked two, struck out two, and allowed one run.
