The Rochester Honkers (13-19) took down the St. Cloud Rox (8-22) 9-2 on Wednesday at Joe Faber Field after slamming the St. Cloud Rox with five runs in the seventh inning.

Mike Lukkason pushed the Rochester Honkers ahead, in the seventh inning, and the lead lasted until the final out. After Dakota Smith, Lukkason, scoring Smith.

Justin Parr racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Rochester Honkers. He singled in the first and eighth innings.

Carl ONeal allowed no earned runs, five hits and two walks while striking out four over 5 2/3 innings of work.

Ty McDevitt improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Rochester Honkers. McDevitt struck out two, walked none and gave up three hits.

Paul Schaak ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just zero innings, walked two, struck out none, and allowed four runs.
