The Wisconsin Woodchucks (13-14) outlasted the Madison Mallards (12-16) on Monday after three lead changes, squeaking out a 9-5 win at Athletic Park.
Brooks Braga did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Wisconsin Woodchucks, reaching base four times. He scored three runs and had one RBI. He singled in the fifth inning and homered in the eighth inning.
Jackson Lowery brought the heat against the Madison Mallards during his outing. Lowery held the Madison Mallards hitless over 2 1/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out four.
Tyler Marincov reached base three times in the game for the Madison Mallards. He scored one run and had one RBI. He homered in the second inning and singled in the fifth inning.
Jack Fischer recorded his third win for the Wisconsin Woodchucks even though he allowed five runs over six innings. Fischer struck out eight, walked two and gave up six hits.
Trevor Foss (1-3) took the loss for the Madison Mallards. He allowed six runs in four innings, walked two and struck out four.
