The Mankato MoonDogs (18-5) and the Duluth Huskies (11-12) exchanged the lead seven times on Thursday, but the Mankato MoonDogs ended up on top with a 5-4 win over the Duluth Huskies.

The Mankato MoonDogs pulled out the win thanks to a strong eighth inning. A sacrifice fly by Drew Stankiewicz scored Cody Ferrell to give the Mankato MoonDogs the lead for good.

James Ramsay reached base three times in the game for the Duluth Huskies. He scored two runs and had one RBI. He singled in the third innings and tripled in the fifth inning.

Derek Howell got the win, running his season record to 2-0. He allowed one run over one inning. He struck out one, walked none and surrendered two hits.
