The Lakeshore Chinooks (10-11) and the Wisconsin Woodchucks (9-12) volleyed the lead five times on Tuesday, but the Lakeshore Chinooks came out on top for a 8-7 win on Tuesday at Athletic Park.
Ty Young did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Lakeshore Chinooks, reaching base three times. He scored one run and had two RBIs. He homered in the first inning.
Joe Greenfield got his second win for the Lakeshore Chinooks despite allowing five runs over 2 1/3 innings. Greenfield struck out four, walked none and gave up five hits.
Mason Pingel couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Wisconsin Woodchucks, taking a loss. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked three, struck out none, and allowed three runs.
