The Wisconsin Rapids Rafters (12-9) trailed by four in the fourth, but Aaron Jones was able to capture the lead back with a single in the ninth, spurring the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters to an 8-7 win over the Eau Claire Express (7-14) at Carson Park on Tuesday.

With the score tied at six, Jones came to the plate and singled, bringing home Joshua Cyr.

Jones racked up four RBIs on two hits for the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters. He doubled in the fifth inning and singled in the ninth inning.

The Wisconsin Rapids Rafters staved off the Eau Claire Express as the Eau Claire Express were unable to match the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters down the stretch.

The Eau Claire Express scored one run in the ninth on an RBI double by Nick Bullington. Unfortunately, the Eau Claire Express weren't able to take the lead back.

Brandon Downes did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters, reaching base four times. He singled in the third, fifth, and ninth innings.

Ronnie Muck recorded his second win of the year for the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters. Muck struck out none, walked one and gave up one hit.

Stephen Carabajal ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked none, struck out one, and allowed two runs.
