The Wisconsin Woodchucks (8-8) were never able to get over the hump and get over their troubles against the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters (7-9) on Thursday, as the Wisconsin Woodchucks fell 5-3 at Athletic Park after falling behind by three runs in the fifth inning.

The Wisconsin Woodchucks scored one run in the seventh on a sacrifice fly by Levi Meyer. Still, the Wisconsin Woodchucks couldn't catch the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters.

Kenny Towns was hot from the plate for the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters. Towns went 2-2 and scored two runs. He singled in the fifth and sixth innings.

Ben Heller struck out six, paving the way for a the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters win. Heller allowed two earned runs, three hits and two walks over six innings.

Pascal Paul was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just seven innings, walked none, struck out seven, and allowed five runs.
