The Willmar Stingers (7-8) weren't able to come back from the big hole they dug themselves into against the Duluth Huskies (9-6), and the Willmar Stingers lost 2-1 to the Duluth Huskies after falling behind by two runs in the fifth inning.

The Willmar Stingers scored one run in the sixth on a sacrifice fly by Max Kuhn. Despite their efforts, the Willmar Stingers couldn't get over the hump.

James Ramsay racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Duluth Huskies. He singled in the third, fifth, and seventh innings.

Jake Nystrom put together a nice outing. Nystrom held the Willmar Stingers hitless over three innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two.

Evan Geist got the win, running his season record to 2-1. He allowed one run over five innings. He struck out three, walked two and surrendered five hits.

Richie Navari (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just five innings, walked two, struck out four, and allowed two runs.
