The Lakeshore Chinooks (9-6) built an early edge on Tuesday, but the La Crosse Loggers (10-5) roared back to steal a 3-2 victory at Kapco Park.

An RBI double by Richard Prigatano gave the La Crosse Loggers the lead in the eighth inning.

The Lakeshore Chinooks had no answer for Jacob Dorris, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. Dorris held the Lakeshore Chinooks hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out three.

Dan Sayles improved to 1-1 on the year by picking up the win for the La Crosse Loggers. Sayles struck out none, walked none and gave up two hits.

Cody Glenn (1-1) took the loss for the Lakeshore Chinooks. He lasted just three innings, walked two, struck out one, and allowed one run.
