The Green Bay Bullfrogs survive the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters 5-4 thanks to Klock's late-game heroics

Joel Klock drove in the go-ahead run to give the Green Bay Bullfrogs (20-12) the lead in the seventh inning, as the Green Bay Bullfrogs hung on to beat the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters (15-16) 5-4 on Monday.

After Kyle Sill singled, Klock came to the plate with one out in the seventh and singled, scoring Sill.

The Green Bay Bullfrogs held off the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters, as the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters were unable to overcome a three-run seventh inning deficit.

The Wisconsin Rapids Rafters scored on an error and a sacrifice fly by Alex Bacon in the seventh inning and an RBI single by Michael Jurgella in the eighth inning. Despite their efforts, the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters couldn't finish the comeback.

Nick Stein did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Green Bay Bullfrogs, reaching base three times. He scored one run and had one RBI. He singled in the fifth inning and doubled in the eighth inning.

The Wisconsin Rapids Rafters couldn't get anything going so long as Robb Woodcock was on the hill. The Wisconsin Rapids Rafters managed just three hits off of the the Green Bay Bullfrogs' pitcher, who allowed one earned run, walked two and struck out three during his 5 2/3 innings of work.

Skyler Debilzen (0-3) took the loss for the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked one, struck out none, and allowed three runs.
