Brandon Bednar went 2-4, sparking the La Crosse Loggers (8-5) to a 6-1 victory over the Lakeshore Chinooks (8-5) on Monday at Kapco Park.

Alex Gunn picked up the win for the La Crosse Loggers. Gunn allowed one earned run, six hits and one walk while striking out five over seven innings of work.

Zack Granite was hot from the plate for the Lakeshore Chinooks. Granite went 2-3 and scored one run. He singled in the third and fifth innings.

Joe Greenfield ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just five innings, walked two, struck out three, and allowed three runs.
