The La Crosse Loggers (5-4) and the Eau Claire Express (4-5) each put runners in scoring position on Thursday, but the La Crosse Loggers capitalized on more RBI opportunities, pulling out a 5-2 win at Copeland Park.

Nick Pasquale's nine strikeouts were enough to push the La Crosse Loggers past the Eau Claire Express. Pasquale allowed one earned run, five hits and no walks over seven innings.

Sean Renzi (0-1) took the loss for the Eau Claire Express. He lasted just five innings, walked three, struck out 10, and allowed five runs.
