Seven first-inning runs helped the Green Bay Bullfrogs (3-3) to a 9-7 win over the Battle Creek Bombers (2-4) at C.O. Brown Stadium on Monday.
Nick Stein pushed the Green Bay Bullfrogs ahead, in the eleventh inning, and the lead lasted until the final out. After Mike Fischer reached on an error, Stein came to the plate with the score tied at seven, and doubled, bringing home Fischer.
Justin Seager had two extra-base hits for the Green Bay Bullfrogs. He singled in the fourth and sixth innings and doubled in the first and tenth innings.
Bradley Wallace got the win, running his season record to 1-0. He struck out three, walked one and surrendered one hit.
Brian Heldman (0-1) took the loss for the Battle Creek Bombers. He lasted just one inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed two runs.
