Friday was a great day for Trevor Foss, as Foss struck out 11 batters to carry the Madison Mallards (3-0) to a 3-2 victory over the La Crosse Loggers (1-2) at Warner Park.

A walk-off single by Luis Munoz gave the Madison Mallards the win.

Munoz was solid at the plate for the Madison Mallards. Munoz went 1-4 and drove in one. He singled in the ninth inning.

John Welborn reached base four times. He singled in the first and third innings.

Nick Pasquale was effective even in defeat, mowing down eight the Madison Mallards batters and allowing two runs.

Sam Forkert improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Madison Mallards. He struck out two, walked none and surrendered no hits.

Jacob Dorris (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just 2 2/3 innings, walked two, struck out four, and allowed one run.
