The Lakeshore Chinooks (3-0) jumped on the Battle Creek Bombers (0-3) early on their way to a 6-5 win on Friday at C.O. Brown Stadium, scoring three runs in the first inning.
German Reyes had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He tripled in the fifth inning, doubled in the seventh inning, and singled in the ninth inning.
