The Ontario (4-0) pounded the Manitoba (1-3) on Friday 8-2 at Midget Parc Henri-Casault in seven innings.

The Ontario scored four runs in the third on a solo home run by Sean Refflinghaus, a two-run double by Andres Nandin, a two-run double by Nandin, and a wild pitch.

Andrew Warner racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Ontario. He singled in the first, third, and fifth innings.

Vince Caschera improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Ontario. He allowed two runs over six innings. He struck out six, walked four and surrendered eight hits.

Curtis de Pena was charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed six runs in 2 1/3 innings, walked three and struck out two.
