The Quebec offense too much for the Nova Scotia in 11-2 rout

The Quebec (1-1) shut the door early on the Nova Scotia (0-2), capturing an 11-2 victory on Friday at Midget Parc Henri-Casault.

Eight runs in the first three innings allowed the Quebec to put the game away early.

An error, , , a groundout by Marc-Etienne Laniel, and a groundout by Laniel in the first inning and an error and a sacrifice fly by Adriano Petrangelo during the second inning fueled the Quebec's offense early.

Simon Loranger had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits.

Francis Desilets picked up the win for the Quebec. Desilets pitched seven innings and allowed two earned runs, six hits and two walks while striking out five.

Morgan Brown couldn't get it done on the hill for the Nova Scotia, taking a loss. He allowed seven runs in two innings, walked four and struck out one.

The Quebec were sparked by Petrangelo and Loranger, who teamed up for four hits and four RBIs.
