Guillaume Gingras went 1-2 as the Qu��bec (4-0) took home a 6-2 victory over the Ontario two (2-2) in seven innings at Junior Stade on Saturday.

Vincent Ouellet picked up the win for the Qu��bec. Ouellet pitched seven innings and allowed one earned run, eight hits and no walks while striking out five.

The Ontario two were led by Eric Carducci's hitting. Carducci went 3-4. He doubled in the first inning and singled in the third and seventh innings.

Andrew Cooper ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed six runs in 4 2/3 innings, walked one and struck out four.
