The Camden Riversharks top the Long Island Ducks in back-and-forth affair, 5-3

After four lead changes in Wednesday's game at Bethpage Ballpark, the Camden Riversharks (53-61) finally pulled out a 5-3 win over the Long Island Ducks (54-61).

The Camden Riversharks took the lead in the ninth inning and held on for the victory. A sacrifice fly by Raul Padron scored Delwyn Young and gave the Camden Riversharks the lead for good.

Pedro Feliz got on base four times in the game for the Camden Riversharks. He tripled in the fifth inning and singled in the third and eighth innings.

The Long Island Ducks couldn't get anything going as long as Zach Hammes was on the mound. Hammes held the Long Island Ducks hitless over one inning, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three.

The Long Island Ducks were led by Shawn Williams's hitting. Williams went 2-4, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the fourth and sixth innings.

James Houser improved to 2-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Camden Riversharks. Houser struck out none, walked one and gave up one hit.

Armando Benitez (2-1) took the loss for the Long Island Ducks. He lasted just one inning, walked none, struck out one, and allowed three runs.
