He singled in the first, second, and fourth innings.Ross Mitchell brought the heat against the Alaska Goldpanners during his outing. Mitchell held the Alaska Goldpanners hitless over 1 2/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out two.
Paul Politi paced the Alaska Goldpanners at the plate. Politi went 1-2, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the second inning.
Tanner Anderson got the win, running his season record to 1-0. He allowed two runs over 2 1/3 innings. Anderson struck out three, walked two and gave up four hits.
Patrick McGrath (0-1) took the loss for the Alaska Goldpanners. He lasted just 1 2/3 innings, walked three, struck out two, and allowed three runs.
