A walk-off two-run blast from Jordon Hein brought home the winning run for the Peninsula Oilers (3-1) in a 4-2 victory over the Everett in 10 innings at Coral Seymour Memorial Park on Tuesday.
Hein racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Peninsula Oilers. He singled in the third inning and homered in the tenth inning.
John Straka improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Peninsula Oilers. He allowed one run over 2 1/3 innings. Straka struck out three, walked none and gave up one hit.
Ryan Sells couldn't get it done on the hill for the Everett (4-4), taking a loss. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked one, struck out one, and allowed one run.
