A great effort by Jack Vander Linden carried the Alaska Goldpanners (4-1) to a 7-0 win over the Everett (2-3) on Friday at Growden Memorial Park.
Vander Linden held the Everett scoreless for eight innings. Vander Linden allowed three hits, two walks and struck out seven.
