Alex Potts drove in the go-ahead run to give the Everett (5-4) the lead in the ninth inning, as the Everett hung on to beat the Alaska Goldpanners (6-1) 4-3 on Wednesday.
After Craig Munson doubled, Potts came to the plate with zero outs in the ninth and singled, scoring Munson.Munson did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Everett, reaching base four times. He singled in the second and seventh innings and doubled in the ninth inning.
Matt Milke couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Alaska Goldpanners, taking a loss. He lasted just five innings, walked four, struck out one, and allowed two runs.
