The Anchorage Glacier Pilots (25-14) and the Matsu Miners (16-23) both threatened with rallies, but it was the Anchorage Glacier Pilots that eventually took advantage of them in a 5-3 win at Hermon Brothers Field.

The Anchorage Glacier Pilots staved off the Matsu Miners as the Matsu Miners were unable to match the Anchorage Glacier Pilots down the stretch.

The Matsu Miners scored one run in the seventh on an RBI single by Branden Berry. Still, the Matsu Miners couldn't catch the Anchorage Glacier Pilots.

Tyler Spoon racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Anchorage Glacier Pilots. He singled in the first and second innings and homered in the fifth inning.

Trey Teakell improved to 3-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Anchorage Glacier Pilots. He allowed two runs over six innings. Teakell struck out four, walked none and gave up eight hits.

Andrew McGee was charged with his fourth loss of the year. He lasted just five innings, walked none, struck out three, and allowed five runs.
