Caleb Natov went 2-3 as the Anchorage Glacier Pilots (24-12) took home an 8-3 victory over the Chugiak Chinooks (14-20) at Loretta French Field on Thursday.
He singled in the second inning and doubled in the ninth inning.Sam Johns had an impressive outing against the Chugiak Chinooks' lineup. The Chugiak Chinooks managed just three hits off of Johns, who allowed one earned run, walked one and struck out four during his five innings of work.
Drew Shields was solid at the plate for the Chugiak Chinooks. Shields went 3-4 and scored one run. He singled in the third, fifth, and seventh innings.
Andrew Work couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Chugiak Chinooks, taking a loss. He lasted just five innings, walked three, struck out five, and allowed four runs.
