The Alaska Goldpanners (14-17) jumped out to an early lead on the Peninsula Oilers (18-15) and captured a 15-3 victory on Monday at Growden Memorial Park.

Alex Staehely racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Peninsula Oilers. He homered in the eighth inning.
J.D. Salles (3-3) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed nine runs in 2 2/3 innings, walked three and struck out five.
