The Anchorage Bucs (15-15) and the Chugiak Chinooks (12-17) both had scoring chances on Wednesday, but it was the Anchorage Bucs that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out a 6-2 win at Loretta French Field.

Garrett Mattlage reached base four times. He singled in the third and eighth innings.

Scott Grist picked up the win for the Anchorage Bucs. Grist pitched six innings and allowed one earned run, five hits and two walks while striking out five.

Clint Manzo couldn't get it done on the bump for the Chugiak Chinooks, taking a loss. He lasted just four innings, walked none, struck out three, and allowed two runs.
