The Peninsula Oilers (17-11) beat the Anchorage Glacier Pilots (17-10) 6-3 in seven innings on Sunday at Coral Seymour Memorial Park behind Josh Delph, who went 2-4.

He singled in the first and third innings.

The Anchorage Glacier Pilots couldn't get anything going as long as Nigel Nootbaar was on the mound. The Anchorage Glacier Pilots managed just one hit off of Nootbaar, who allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out one during his three innings of work.

Kevin Swick racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Anchorage Glacier Pilots. He homered in the first inning and singled in the third innings.

J.D. Salles improved to 3-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Peninsula Oilers. He allowed three runs over four innings. He struck out two, walked one and surrendered six hits.

Sam Johns was charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just 2 2/3 innings, walked two, struck out two, and allowed five runs.
