He homered in the fourth innings, doubled in the sixth inning, and singled in the eighth inning.Jon Maciel picked up the win for the Peninsula Oilers. Maciel pitched seven innings and allowed two earned runs, five hits and no walks while striking out four.
Garrett Mattlage put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the Anchorage Bucs. He doubled in the second and seventh innings and singled in the ninth inning.
Andrew Ferreira shut down the Peninsula Oilers while he was on the mound. Ferreira held the Peninsula Oilers hitless over one inning, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three.
Tanner Kichler ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just 5 2/3 innings, walked two, struck out three, and allowed five runs.
