The Matsu Miners (2-6) didn't have a chance on Sunday, as the Anchorage Bucs (3-3) won in blowout fashion, 13-6 at Mulcahy Field.

The Anchorage Bucs scored five runs in the fourth on , a double by Stephen Wadsworth, and a solo home run by Ryan Leonards.

Danny Susdorf was hot from the plate for the Anchorage Bucs. Susdorf went 4-5, drove in one and scored two runs. He doubled in the sixth inning and singled in the first, fourth, and eighth innings.

Austen Williams brought the heat against the Matsu Miners during his outing. The Matsu Miners managed just one hit off of Williams, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three during his two innings of work.

Scott Grist improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Anchorage Bucs. He allowed three runs over five innings. He struck out five, walked two and surrendered eight hits.

Andrew McGee (0-2) took the loss for the Matsu Miners. He allowed seven runs in 3 1/3 innings, walked three and struck out seven.

The Anchorage Bucs hammered the Matsu Miners pitching as six hitters had a field day, combining for 13 hits, eight RBIs and 10 runs scored.
