The Anchorage Glacier Pilots need walk-off double to beat the Chugiak Chinooks, 10-9

A walk-off double from Jeff Kremer brought home the winning run for the Anchorage Glacier Pilots (4-4) in a 10-9 victory over the Chugiak Chinooks (5-3) in 12 innings at Mulcahy Field on Tuesday.

It was a good day at the plate for the Anchorage Glacier Pilots' Kremer. Kremer went 2-5, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the second innings and doubled in the twelfth inning.

The two teams combined for 19 runs and 27 hits, including zero extra base hits. Relief pitchers got their fill of innings during the game, with the opposing managers using 11 pitchers in total.

Travis Pitcher recorded his first win of the year for the Anchorage Glacier Pilots. He allowed one run over five innings. He struck out three, walked one and surrendered six hits.

Tim Duxbury (1-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked none, struck out one, and allowed one run.
