The Atwater Aviators (27-17) and the Sacramento Scorch (9-26) exchanged the lead seven times on Sunday, but the Atwater Aviators ended up on top with a 6-4 win over the Sacramento Scorch.

The Atwater Aviators would not relinquish the lead as the Sacramento Scorch were unable to weather a three-run sixth inning deficit.

The Sacramento Scorch scored one run in the seventh on an RBI single by Jimmy Jack. Unfortunately, the Sacramento Scorch weren't able to take the lead back.

Beau Bozett paced the Atwater Aviators at the plate. Bozett went 2-4, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the first and sixth innings.

Spencer Koopmans recorded his third win of the year for the Atwater Aviators. He allowed four runs over seven innings. He struck out four, walked six and surrendered seven hits.

Devon Golden was charged with his fourth loss of the year. He allowed six runs in six innings, walked three and struck out six.
