Tyler Herron tossed seven scoreless innings to lift the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks to a 4-0 win over the Rockland Boulders (43-44) at Newman Outdoor Field.
Ryan Delgado pushed the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks ahead, in the sixth inning, and the lead lasted until the final out. Zach Penprase singled to start the sixth. He then went from first to second on a single by Ryan Stovall. Finally, Delgado came to the plate with the game scoreless in the sixth inning and was hit by a pitch, plating Penprase.
Penprase was hot from the plate for the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks. Penprase went 3-5, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the sixth, seventh, and eighth innings.
Pat Moran (4-6) took the loss for the Rockland Boulders. He lasted just seven innings, walked one, struck out seven, and allowed one run.
