Ryan Scoma racked up three RBIs on one hit for the Rockland Boulders. He homered in the first inning.
The New Jersey Jackals had no answer for Garrett Johnson, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. Johnson held the New Jersey Jackals hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out two.
Gaetano Giunta did his best to jumpstart the offense for the New Jersey Jackals, reaching base two times. He scored two runs and had one RBI. He homered in the fourth inning.
Gustavo Chacin got the win, running his season record to 3-2. He allowed four runs over six innings. Chacin struck out three, walked one and gave up eight hits.
Steve Fox couldn't get it done on the hill for the New Jersey Jackals, taking a loss. He allowed nine runs in five innings, walked three and struck out four.
