The New Jersey Jackals' late runs seal 18-5 blowout over the Worcester Tornadoes

A nine-run seventh inning sealed an 18-5 win for the New Jersey Jackals (40-28) over the Worcester Tornadoes (20-48) on Monday at Hanover Insurance Park at Fitto.

Nick Giarraputo racked up six RBIs on three hits for the New Jersey Jackals. He homered in the seventh inning and doubled in the seventh and eighth innings.

Craig Clark picked up the win for the New Jersey Jackals. Clark allowed two earned runs, five hits and one walk while striking out five over six innings of work.

Alex Nunez racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Worcester Tornadoes. He singled in the fourth inning and doubled in the eighth inning.

Conner Hulse ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He allowed six runs in five innings, walked two and struck out three.
