The Newark Bears (18-43) rolled over the Quebec Capitales (40-20) 9-1 on Saturday at Le Stade Municipal after a five-run rally in the fourth inning.
Eric McGee had two extra-base hits for the Newark Bears. He singled in the second inning, homered in the fourth inning, and doubled in the ninth inning.
Pedro Rivera picked up the win for the Newark Bears. Rivera allowed one earned run, five hits and one walk while striking out two over nine innings of work.
Sebastien Boucher was solid at the plate for the Quebec Capitales. Boucher went 2-4 and scored one run. He tripled in the sixth inning and singled in the eighth inning.
