The Quebec Capitales drub the Newark Bears, 6-0

The Newark Bears (17-38) didn't have a chance on Saturday, as the Quebec Capitales (36-18) won in blowout fashion, 6-0 at Bears_Eagles Riverfront Stadium.

An RBI single by Rene Leveret delivered the runs in the ninth. The Quebec Capitales had three hits in the inning.

Sebastien Boucher put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the Quebec Capitales. He doubled in the first inning, singled in the seventh inning, and tripled in the ninth inning.

Jeff Duda struck out six, paving the way for a the Quebec Capitales win. The Quebec Capitales' pitcher gave up just six hits over five shutout innings.

The Newark Bears were led by Quentin Davis's hitting. Davis went 3-4. He doubled in the third inning and singled in the first and fifth innings.

Mike Petrowski (0-2) took the loss for the Newark Bears. He lasted just four innings, walked two, struck out three, and allowed three runs.
