The El Paso Diablos built an early lead against the Worcester Tornadoes (16-33), scoring four runs in the first inning, en route to a 5-2 win on Monday at Cohen Stadium.

JJ Muse had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He singled in the second inning, doubled in the fourth inning, and tripled in the sixth inning.

Scott Hodsdon got it done on the hill on the way to a win. He allowed two runs over seven innings. Hodsdon struck out five, walked none and gave up 10 hits.

Ryan Bicondoa was charged with his sixth loss of the year. He lasted just eight innings, walked four, struck out three, and allowed five runs.
