The two teams combined for 20 hits in the game.
The Amarillo Sox turned the win into a rout with six runs in the seventh.
Tim Alberts racked up five RBIs on three hits for the Amarillo Sox. He singled in the fourth inning, doubled in the fifth inning, and homered in the eighth inning.
The Amarillo Sox relied on Jack Spralding to eat up innings en route to the win. Spralding pitched seven innings and allowed two earned runs, four hits and no walks while striking out four.
Kevin Cooper (2-5) took the loss for the Worcester Tornadoes. He allowed seven runs in five innings, walked three and struck out three.
