Thursday was a great day for Bobby Blevins, as Blevins struck out 10 batters to carry the Rockland Boulders (18-20) to a 7-3 victory over the Newark Bears (13-27) at Bears_Eagles Riverfront Stadium.

Cole Kraft delivered a big hit off the bench in the five.. His pinch-hit single was the key moment in the Rockland Boulders' four-run win.

With the Rockland Boulders leading by two, Kraft came to the plate and singled, scoring Qualon Millender.

Kraft racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Rockland Boulders.

Jon Smith had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He tripled in the seventh inning and homered in the ninth inning.

Juan Martinez put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the Newark Bears. He doubled in the first and ninth innings.

Caleb Cuevas ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just 6 2/3 innings, walked three, struck out five, and allowed five runs.

The Rockland Boulders' Smith, Keith Brachold and Kraft combined for six hits and five RBIs.
