Giarraputo's walk-off two-run blast send the New Jersey Jackals home winners, 10-9

A walk-off two-run home run from Nick Giarraputo brought home the winning run for the New Jersey Jackals (21-12) in a 10-9 victory over the Grand Prairie AirHogs in 16 innings at Yogi Berra Stadium on Friday.

Giarraputo had two extra-base hits for the New Jersey Jackals. He doubled in the fourth inning, singled in the sixth and eighth innings, and homered in the sixteenth inning.

Each team blasted the other's pitching, and there were 19 total runs and 30 hits during the game. Relief pitchers got their fill of innings during the game, with the opposing managers using 16 pitchers in total.

Craig Clark got the win for the New Jersey Jackals. He allowed one run over one inning. Clark struck out none, walked none and gave up one hit.

The New Jersey Jackals were sparked by Bryan Sabatella and Giarraputo, who teamed up for eight hits and four RBIs.

Nick DeBarr was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed two runs.
