Stephen Pearson went 1-4 and hit a home run as the Laredo Lemurs (54-45) took home a 6-2 victory over the Gary SouthShore RailCats (49-50) at Gary, Ind. (U.S. Steel Yard) on Saturday.

Edwin Walker brought the heat against the Gary SouthShore RailCats during his outing. Walker held the Gary SouthShore RailCats hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two.

Ryan Sasaki got the win, running his season record to 6-3. He allowed two runs over five innings. He struck out three, walked one and surrendered seven hits.

Morgan Coombs couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Gary SouthShore RailCats, taking a loss. He lasted just five innings, walked three, struck out three, and allowed four runs.
