The Lincoln Saltdogs (40-57) trailed by three in the sixth, but the Lincoln Saltdogs recovered thanks to a key solo home run in the seventh inning from Pete Parise to pull out a 6-5 win over the Quebec Capitales at Le Stade Municipal on Friday.
With the score tied at five, Parise came to the plate and homered.
Stephen Holdren racked up four RBIs on two hits for the Lincoln Saltdogs. He singled in the fifth inning.
J Garton racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Quebec Capitales. He homered in the third inning and singled in the fourth inning.
Conor Spink improved to 1-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Lincoln Saltdogs. He struck out two, walked one and surrendered two hits.
