The El Paso Diablos (44-49) built an early edge on Monday, but the Wichita Wingnuts (55-39) roared back to steal a 4-1 victory at Lawrence Dumont Stadium.

While the El Paso Diablos led until the sixth inning, the Wichita Wingnuts worked their way back and took the lead on an RBI home run by CJ Ziegler.

Ziegler had a hot bat for the Wichita Wingnuts. Ziegler went 1-3, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the sixth innings.

It was a good day at the plate for the El Paso Diablos' Welington Dotel. Dotel went 2-3 and scored one run. He singled in the second inning and doubled in the sixth inning.

Edgar R. Martinez got the win, running his season record to 2-1. He struck out none, walked none and surrendered one hit.

Ramon Garcia ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his fourth loss of the year. He lasted just six innings, walked one, struck out one, and allowed four runs.
