A walk-off single from Jake Taylor brought home the winning run for the Sioux Falls Pheasants (41-50) in a 4-3 victory over the Sioux City Explorers at Sioux Falls Stadium on Friday.

Taylor was hot from the plate for the Sioux Falls Pheasants. Taylor went 1-4, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the ninth innings.

Alan DeRatt got the win, running his season record to 4-7. He allowed one run over one inning. He struck out two, walked none and surrendered two hits.

Nick Schumacher was charged with his eighth loss of the year. He lasted just 8 1/3 innings, walked one, struck out eight, and allowed four runs.
