Wednesday was a great day for Miles Durham, as he hit two home runs to carry the St Paul Saints (49-40) to a 9-2 victory over the Rockland Boulders at Midway Stadium.
The St Paul Saints blew out the Rockland Boulders thanks to 16 hits, including zero extra base hits. The St Paul Saints scored three runs in the fifth on a single by Ronnie Bourquin, a solo home run by Durham, an RBI single by Jim Rapoport, and a sacrifice fly by Adam Frost.
Anthony Claggett improved to 7-3 on the year by picking up the win for the St Paul Saints. He allowed two runs over five innings. Claggett struck out four, walked two and gave up six hits.
Bourquin, Joe Spiers, Durham and Frost helped lead the St Paul Saints. They combined for 11 hits and seven RBIs.
Jon Velasquez was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed nine runs in four innings, walked two and struck out two.
