Kyle Hurst kept the Rockland Boulders off the board during his six innings of work and the St Paul Saints (47-40) beat the Rockland Boulders, 3-1.

Hurst struck out three and allowed one walk and four hits.

Ole Sheldon pushed the St Paul Saints ahead, in the seventh inning, and the lead lasted until the final out. After Jim Rapoport singled, Sheldon came to the plate with one out in the seventh and doubled, plating Rapoport.

Sheldon racked up two RBIs on two hits for the St Paul Saints. He singled in the third inning and doubled in the seventh inning.

Taylor Sinclair improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the St Paul Saints. Sinclair struck out none, walked two and gave up no hits.

Bobby Blevins took the loss for the Rockland Boulders. He lasted just 6 2/3 innings, walked two, struck out three, and allowed two runs.
