Delgado gives the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks late push to beat the Lincoln Saltdogs, 9-5

Ryan Delgado drove in the winning run to give the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks (47-25) the lead in the seventh inning, as the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks hung on to beat the Lincoln Saltdogs (29-43) 9-5 on Friday.

Eric Campbell to start the seventh. He then went from first to second on a single by Jon Gaston. Finally, Delgado came to the plate with the score tied at four in the seventh inning, and singled, bringing home Campbell.

Delgado racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks. He doubled in the sixth inning and singled in the seventh inning.

Ryan Stovall put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks. He doubled in the fifth inning and homered in the seventh inning.

Mike Provencher had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He singled in the first inning, doubled in the fourth inning, and homered in the ninth inning.

Jake Laber improved to 5-5 on the year by picking up the win for the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks. He allowed four runs over seven innings. He struck out three, walked none and surrendered nine hits.

Moises Melendez couldn't get it done on the bump for the Lincoln Saltdogs, taking a loss. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked two, struck out none, and allowed three runs.

Delgado, Campbell and Stovall helped lead the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks. They combined for six hits and four RBIs.
